Picking a name from an existing list
Let's say you are having a pizza lunch and need one of your buddies to go pick up the pie.

Using the Pizza Lunch list you already configured, you simply launch Volunteer-O-Matic and hit "Spin."

Volunteer-O-Matic will now randomly select a name from the list and display the lucky winner.

You can use "Remove entry from next spin" to temporarily remove the person or number from the next go around.

"Reset lists" will reload the original list with all candidates.

 Creating a new list
To configure a new list, select the List Manager button on the top right hand side of the screen.

You will see the List Manager interface. Now select "New."

After selecting "New," Volunteer-O-Matic will display the "Create New List" interface.

This will let you create either a list made of numbers or a list made of names.

Enter the name for the list you'd like to create. Then select either the "Numbers" or the "Names" button.

For lists containing numbers, Volunteer-O-Matic provides a slider to pre-populate the list with numbers from 1 to 99.

For lists containing names, Volunteer-O-Matic will initially display an empty list. You can fill it by selecting either "Add (manual)" or "Add (Address Book)."

In manual mode, you can type in names and add them to the list manually.

In Address Book mode, Volunteer-O-Matic displays your iPhone's or iPod's address book entries for convenient one-touch addition to the list.

 Deleting lists
If you no longer need a particular list, simply select "Delete" at the top right corner of the screen.

Volunteer-O-Matic will display a delete icon next to each list. If you select the delete icon, a Delete button is displayed. Select the delete button to remove the list permanently. Please note that this cannot be undone.
